MOTHER BLESSING
What is it?
A Mother Blessing Ceremony or Blessingway is an alternative to a baby shower, an intimate but powerful gathering where we sit in circle to honor the new life that is about to be born, by honoring first the magical being that is partaking in this creation, the Mother.
The focus of the Mother Blessing is on the woman herself as she makes the profound transition to motherhood. This gathering is also perfect for an expecting Mother who has already had a traditional baby shower in a previous pregnancy and seeks support from friends and family preparing for her next birth journey.
During a Mother Blessing, a woman's loved ones gather to weave a web of support that she can rely on in the days leading up to her birth and in the postpartum time after.
What is included?
All events include:
☾ Guided ceremony and activities for about 60min, the attendees are welcome to stay afterward.
☾ Digital invite design. Choose your preferred theme or color palette.
☾ Call/meeting prior to the event with the Mother to prepare her and learn about her pregnancy experience. (optional)
☾ List of affirmations for childbirth.
☾ 1 Candle for each attendee.
☾ Set up: Bolsters, flowers, blankets, eye pillows, crystals, candles, beads, yarn, sound bowl.
☾ Option to host at a location of your choosing or in studio
